“And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salât (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice)”

[Surah: Hud (11); Ayah #144]

وَأَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّـيِّئَاتِ ذَلِكَ ذِكْرَى لِلذَّاكِرِينَ {هود: 114}

61. Abu Dharr& Mu`adh bin Jabal reported that: Messenger of Allah said, "Fear Allah wherever you are, do good deeds after doing bad ones, the former will wipe out the latter, and behave decently towards people".

[At-Tirmidhi]

 عن أبي ذَرٍّ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ جُنَادةَ ، وأبي عبْدِ الرَّحْمنِ مُعاذِ بْنِ جبل رضيَ اللَّه عنهما ، عنْ رسولِ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم ، قال : « اتَّقِ اللَّهَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ وأَتْبِعِ السَّيِّئَةَ الْحسنةَ تَمْحُهَا، وخَالقِ النَّاسَ بخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ » رواهُ التِّرْمذيُّ وقال : حديثٌ حسنٌ .
